Phew bananas are expensive. So we left Melbo as soon as we got there (plus you can't apparently get neat the Neighbours Street)

Thanks to New Zealand, we were sick of beautiful views, but what we did get in Oz was sunshine

And the creatures were bigger. We saw a koala and a thing that hoovers up Ants, but its not a hoover

We stayed in a nice place above Apollo Bay. Here's me looking like a solid unit

And here's Dada pretending he's an Aussie. He managed to get it up several times, which Mama said was very good. Must have been helped by the giant waves you can see

We also climbed up above some trees which was cool, but Daddy cut me out of all the pictures so I'm not going to show you one. Back in Melbo we caught up with Uncle Bally's sister (who seems way too normal to be related) and watched England throw away the 2nd test. I also went under water for the first time and loved it. And I'm growing fast too which can cause its problems, there's a video demonstrating this

Dada had a huge night out with Edmondo and Big Al (notice Al is still taller than Dada despite being made to stand on a low bit. Al was once mistaken for a manequin). They went to see a novelty game of football called 'Australian Soccer' at The Telstra Dome. It was the biggest ever crowd that saw Melbourne FC skillfully score no goals against Sydney FC who also scored no goals. After the game they ran into Sian, Dada's mate from Uni not seen for 5 years or so ... and got very drunk

And yes, thats a cow in the tree. The most photographed cow after Daisy. And Sophie Ellis Bextor. Also in Melbourne Daddy (as I now call him) tried to cycle around the city on The Yarra Trail, but after 15km got a sore ar*se so came back. We also went up a tower and went to an aquarium. In fact in just about every city we go up a tower and go to an aquarium

Leaving Melbourne was hard for me, I had grown very fond of a Thomas The Tank Engine DVD. But I couldn't hold hands with him. I could however hold hands with this funny thing that was walking around called Courtney. She was like Daddy, only softer and more mature. And her Mummy Sue was like Daddy only hairier (ho-ho; he's in trouble now). Courtney opened up a whole new social scene for me, I met her friend John and the 3 of us had a crazy time with her (mostly pink) toys

To get to Canberra we had to drive along The Alpine Road where unbelievably we got cold in one of the highest places in Australia, Thredbo. I thought Mama had been cooking because it was very misty. We also went to see some power stations and dams and some kangaroos! One of most eerie sites was Lake Hume - empty

So our 2 months in Oz had started, and none of us had bunged a shrimp on the bar-b, so maybe that would happen as we headed towards Christmas in Canberra ...
